Since earning her Education Specialist degree in School Psychology from Michigan State University, JoLynn has dedicated her career to high-quality, student-centered psychoeducational evaluations that inform meaningful support and intervention.

Before going independent, JoLynn began her career in a diverse public school district, where she served four elementary schools and a K–12 parochial school over the course of eight years. There, she gained deep experience collaborating with child study teams, consulting with educators, and conducting comprehensive evaluations for students with a wide range of needs, including learning disabilities, developmental delays, autism spectrum disorder, ADHD and other health impairments, emotional disabilities, and cognitive impairments.

In 2022, JoLynn expanded her services to include online psychoeducational support for districts, as well as in-person evaluations for Michigan students enrolled in virtual schools. Her hybrid practice model reflects her commitment to accessibility and flexibility while maintaining rigorous, research-based standards of practice.

A passionate advocate for culturally responsive assessment, JoLynn has evaluated linguistically and culturally diverse students since the start of her career.

Educated and experienced in Michigan, JoLynn brings a deep understanding of the state’s special education landscape, including compliance requirements and the day-to-day realities of Michigan schools. â€‹As school psychologist shortages persist across the state, JoLynn is committed to partnering directly with districts that value quality over quantity.
